How the night could run
Guests arrive to a reception with masks provided for anyone who needs one, and strolling performers set the tone. Dinner is served in a candlelit room with live music, from a string quartet to a singer.
After dinner, the room opens up for dancing to a band or DJ. A masquerade works especially well in historic halls and ballrooms, where the setting adds to the sense of occasion.
