The Royal Nutcracker Banquet captures the joy of being a child at Christmas. It’s the perfect blend of nostalgia, opulence and fairytale enchantment.
You’ll enjoy live music and spectacular Nutcracker ballet performances, a sumptuous 3-course festive banquet, unlimited drinks, a live party band and sensational after-dinner entertainment.
Your night of festive fantasy takes place in central London amid the elegant surroundings of the Leonardo Royal St Paul’s. There are no problems getting there and back because transport links are excellent.
After a VIP welcome with Prosecco, you’ll feel like Clara entering the fairytale palace as you make your way into the ballroom. You’ll find sparkling decor and festive lights, Christmas trees and Nutcracker soldiers everywhere you look.
Then it’s time for a mouthwatering 3-course banquet, unlimited drinks and unforgettable entertainment — live Nutcracker ballet performances accompanied by top-class classical musicians.
While some Christmas parties fizzle out after dinner, ours are only just beginning. A live party band takes to the stage, and it’s your turn to dance as the music switches from Tchaikovsky to some of the hottest tunes on the planet.
If you can stop dancing, try your luck at the casino tables, or get your face bling on at the glitter bar.

Please note that all shared parties run on a set menu. Dietary requirements must be submitted in advanced within the venues deadline.

STANDARD MENU:
Gravadlax of salmon with dill cream cheese, caper berries, rye toast.
Rolled breast of turkey wrapped in parma ham apricot stuffing, thyme and garlic roast potatoes, glazed root vegetables, chipolata, brussel sprouts, roast turkey jus.
Salted caramel cheesecake, salted popcorn, chantilly cream.
VEGETARIAN / VEGAN MENU:
Roasted squash and fig salad with crispy onion and herb breadcrumb, apple cider dress.
Beetroot wellington apricot stuffing, thyme and garlic roast potatoes, glazed root vegetables, chipolata, Brussel sprouts, vegetable jus.
Christmas pudding, red currants, brandy sauce.
Menus may change if certain ingredients are unavailable due to supply chain issues. We cater for all dietary requirements. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet so you can let us know about them. If anyone in your party requires Kosher food, please get in touch. It comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge.
7.30pm – VIP red carpet arrival with a glass of Prosecco
8pm – 3-course festive banquet, live music and ballet performances
10pm – Party band begins, casino tables and glitter bar opens
Midnight – Live band finishes, background music continues
12.30am – Bar closes
1am – Carriages
Is this a shared event?
Yes, the main party room is shared. This is where dinner is served, and also where all the live music takes place during and after dinner.
Will we have our own table?
Yes, no matter the size of your guest list you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes.
The All-Inclusive Lite ticket includes unlimited soft drinks, along with a welcome drink and 1/2 a bottle of wine per person.
Your All-Inclusive Standard ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks.
For £30 +VAT per person, you can upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus. This gives you unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks — plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers), or glasses of Prosecco.
With all options, all-inclusive drinks are served from 8pm until 12.30am.
Is there a dress code?
We don’t impose a strict dress code, although this is a black tie event — a great excuse to dress up and look your best.
For men, the full `black tie’ look is a tuxedo, dress shirt, black bow tie and shiny patent leather shoes. However, if that isn’t your style, don’t worry. A normal suit will be fine.
For women, this is a rare chance to wear a formal gown — although, again, you don’t have to. If a full-length, floor-swishing number isn’t your thing, opt for the refined sophistication of a knee-length cocktail dress.
Will the hotel cater for different dietary requirements?
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so that each person is catered for appropriately.
The only exception to this is Kosher food. This cannot be prepared at the hotel, it comes via a separate caterer and incurs an additional charge.
How much is the deposit? And when is it due?
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £50 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
Can I add additional guests later?
We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 1st November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we can add to your booking — although please bear in mind, we can’t guarantee this.
