The Grand Masquerade Ball shared Christmas party in London focuses on a clear structure, a strong visual theme and an all-inclusive format that makes it straightforward to organise.
Your guests arrive to a red-carpet welcome, greeted by costumed performers and a glass of Prosecco before stepping into a candlelit masquerade setting. From the start, there’s a sense of occasion without it feeling overdone. You’ll move through to a seated three-course dinner, with live music playing in the background and performers circulating between tables, adding movement without interrupting conversation. Drinks are included throughout, which helps keep the evening relaxed and avoids the usual stop-start feel of ordering at the bar.
As the night progresses, the format naturally opens up. A live band takes over after dinner, shifting the room from dining into a more social party atmosphere. The dancefloor fills, while casino tables provide an alternative for guests who prefer something lower-key. Is this a shared event?
Yes, the main party room is shared. This is where dinner is served, and also where all the live music takes place during and after dinner.
Will we have our own table?
Yes, no matter the size of your guest list you’ll have your own tables. You won’t have to share the table with anyone outside your party group.
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes. Your All-Inclusive Standard ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks. You can upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus. This gives you unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks — plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers), or glasses of Prosecco. With all options, all-inclusive drinks are served from 8pm until 12.30am.
Is there a dress code?
There is no dress code. However, it’s a masquerade ball, so it’s all about grandeur and elegance… and remember, everyone will be wearing a mask.
Will the hotel cater for different dietary requirements?
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so each person is catered for appropriately. The only exception to this is Kosher food. It can’t be prepared at the hotel and comes via a separate caterer, so it incurs an additional cost.
How much is the deposit? And when is it due?
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £55 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
