Set at Leonardo Royal London City, this shared Christmas party brings together ballet performances, live music, sparkling décor, a three-course banquet and and drinks (Inclusions depending on which package chosen) in a way that feels more like a winter celebration than a standard office party.
From the moment guests arrive, the tone is set. A red carpet entrance and glass of Prosecco lead into a Nutcracker-inspired setting filled with Christmas trees, festive lighting and costumed performers. It has that slightly grand, storybook feel without becoming too formal, which makes it a good choice for companies wanting guests to dress up, enjoy the setting and feel like the evening has had some proper thought behind it.
Dinner is served as a three-course festive banquet, with drinks (Inclusions depending on which package chosen) throughout the main part of the evening. Live classical musicians and Nutcracker ballet performances bring the theme to life between courses, giving the night a more polished feel than a typical hotel Christmas party. It’s festive, but not in the overly cheesy way that can sometimes put people off.

Questions
Are drinks included in the price?
Yes. Your All-Inclusive Standard ticket includes unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks. Alternatively, you can upgrade to All-Inclusive Plus. This gives you unlimited wine, beer and soft drinks — plus 6 single spirits (with or without mixers), or glasses of Prosecco. With all options, all-inclusive drinks are served from 8pm until 12.30am. Please note that everyone in your group must be on the same package. We cannot mix and match the ticket types.
Is there a dress code?
No. We don’t impose a strict dress code, although a number of guests will opt to wear evening gowns or ‘black tie’ attire as a great excuse to dress up and look your best. We won’t turn anybody away, so please wear what you find most comfortable for an evening like this, we just want you to have a great time. For men, the full `black tie’ look is a tuxedo, dress shirt, black bow tie and shiny patent leather shoes. However, if that isn’t your style, don’t worry. A normal suit will be fine. For women, this is a rare chance to wear a formal gown – although, again, you don’t have to. If a full-length, floor-swishing number isn’t your thing, opt for the refined sophistication of a knee-length cocktail dress.
Will the hotel cater for different dietary requirements?
Yes they will. Once you’ve booked, we’ll send you a function sheet. Use this to let us know the names and dietary requirements of any guests. We’ll inform the chef so each person is catered for appropriately. The only exception to this is Kosher food. It can’t be prepared at the hotel and comes via a separate caterer, so it incurs an additional cost.
How much is the deposit? And when is it due?
To secure your booking, we’ll need a deposit of £55 + VAT per guest at the time of booking. The balance will be due 6 weeks (42 days) before the event.
Can I add additional guests later?
We’ll be as flexible as possible. Please let us know about any changes before 1st November and we’ll do our best to accommodate them. Provided there is availability, we’ll add to your booking —although please bear in mind, we cannot guarantee this. If you want to add guests, please contact us. If there’s availability for extra guests, full payment will be required in order to secure the booking.
What’s the minimum and maximum number of guests I can book for?
The minimum is 8 people. The maximum number for private dining rooms at this venue is 272.
Is there parking near the venue?
There are some on-street metre parking available outside the hotel. The nearest car park is Tower Hill Car Park, 50 Lower Thames Street.
What about public transport?
You’re within easy reach of Tower Hill and Aldgate tube stations. Tower Gateway DLR and Fenchurch Street Station are also just a short walk away.
