Motown Christmas Party

A Christmas party where the music does the heavy lifting from the moment your guests walk in. If you're planning for a mixed group and want something that feels lively without needing to overthink it, the Ultimate Motown Extravaganza has a natural rhythm that carries the night, and booked exclusively, the ballroom, the band and the whole show are yours.

You'll start with a red-carpet style arrival and a glass of Prosecco, giving your team a chance to settle in before the evening builds. Inside, the space is set with a Motown theme, and as guests take their seats, live vocals begin weaving through familiar tracks that most people already know. It creates an easy atmosphere during the three-course dinner, where conversation flows and the room gradually lifts. The all-inclusive drinks package keeps everything simple, so you're not dealing with logistics or questions on the night.

As the evening moves on, the focus shifts. The full Motown band takes centre stage, moving from background performance into a proper live set that draws people onto the dancefloor without forcing it. The music choice is key here: it appeals across ages and teams, which is often half the challenge when you're organising a Christmas party. Around the room, there's more to explore if guests want a change of pace, with casino tables and a glitter bar adding variety without interrupting the flow of the night.

The setting is the Park Plaza Victoria London in Westminster. The ballroom is modern and spacious, designed to comfortably host up to around 420 guests while still feeling connected. You're just a short walk from Victoria Station, which makes it an easy meeting point for teams travelling in from across London. If you have guests coming from further afield, the hotel's bedrooms and leisure facilities give you a straightforward overnight option without needing to move locations.
