The Members Room & Business Lounge at One Moorgate Place

One Moorgate Place is a grade ll listed and encapsulating city venue. Their range of historic and modern rooms, coupled with state-of-the-art audio visual facilities, create the perfect setting for meetings, conferences and training. The building is also known as Chartered Accountant’s Hall and is the headquarters of the Institute of Chartered Accounts, England and Wales (the ICAEW). Located only minutes’ walk away from Moorgate, Bank and Liverpool St stations.

One Moorgate Place receives a Christmas make over each year, consisting of beautiful Christmas trees, decorated entry ways and centre pieces, all included in your venue hire.

For a standing event:

The Business Centre Lounge will provide the standing space for the DJ & Disco post-dinner. The space is located across the corridor from the Member’s Room and both space are situated close to the main entrance to the building.  The space will accommodate up to 70 guests for a standing reception.

Main space: The Members Room

The Members’ Room is one of their Grade ll listed spaces boasting historic features and grandeur typical of the Victorian neo-Baroque. The room features a replica of the Rialto bridge in Venice elegantly stretching across the space.  The room has a number of audio visual fixtures such as a PA system and microphones as well as background music facilities. This is the main space for your party with space for drinks and food service and option for entertainment, for example Casino tables, which can be hired in via an external supplier.

The Member’s Room is located on the ground floor in the building near the main entrance and key facilities such as cloakroom and toilets. They will accommodate your 40 guests on a number of round tables for dinner.
